Roof inspection

Find out what your roof needs.

Inspections are typically scheduled one to two days out, longer in the week after a big storm. Emergencies and active leaks come first. The inspection costs nothing but about an hour of your time.

What you'll find out

What the inspection tells you

Nothing needs to be done

Your roof is doing its job.

Some upkeep would help

A little upkeep now helps the roof last longer.

A repair will fix it

The problem is isolated, and a repair takes care of it.

Worth keeping an eye on

The report says what to watch for and when to have it looked at again.

A new roof may be due

If the roof is near the end of its life, the project manager explains why and goes over your options with you. If your roof can be repaired instead, we'll tell you.

Storm damage

There is storm damage your insurance company may cover; what it covers is its decision. Let's look at your options and make a plan that is right for you.

What's included

We look at the whole exterior.

  • Everything on the roof: shingles, flashing, vents, pipe boots, ridges and valleys
  • Gutters and downspouts
  • Windows and siding
  • Fences
  • Outdoor belongings such as patio furniture, grills and fans
  • The attic, when we need to see the underside of the roof
What you get

What comes with the inspection

A walkthrough on site

Our project manager goes over what we found with you and answers your questions before leaving.

A written report with photos

Photos of your own home, checked by our team before it's emailed to you.

A breakdown with costs

What we found, what we'd recommend and what it would cost.

A follow-up call

We call to go over the report and anything you're unsure about.

Someone to reach

Questions later? We're available during business hours.

The report is yours to keep, with no obligation.

What it takes

What's the catch?

About an hour of your time, sometimes a little more.

It's better if you can be home: sometimes we need to see the attic, and you can ask your questions and see what we see.

Away that day? The inspection can still go ahead if we can reach the whole property.

Your inspector is not a commissioned salesperson. He is a project manager inspecting your property and developing a plan.
